CleanSwipe: Photo Cleaner

Privacy Policy

MSA CORE LLC · Last updated 2 September 2026

The short version. CleanSwipe analyses your photos and videos directly on your iPhone. Your photos and videos are never uploaded to MSA CORE LLC. We do not track you, and we do not run advertising. The only information that leaves your device is your purchase status, handled by RevenueCat so that CleanSwipe Pro works across reinstalls.

Who we are

CleanSwipe: Photo Cleaner (“CleanSwipe”, “the app”) is published by MSA CORE LLC. This policy explains what the app does with data and what it does not do.

Photos and videos stay on your device

CleanSwipe's purpose is to help you review photos and videos you may no longer want. All of that analysis — finding similar photos, screenshots, possibly blurry photos and large videos — runs on your iPhone, using Apple's Photos and Vision frameworks.

The following never leave your device and are never sent to MSA CORE LLC or to any third party:

CleanSwipe contains no upload feature. There is no MSA CORE LLC server that receives media from the app.

Why CleanSwipe asks for photo library access

The app cannot do anything useful without reading your photo library, because its entire function is to examine what is in it. iOS asks for your permission the first time you choose to scan, and you can change or withdraw that permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.

CleanSwipe also works if you grant access to only a selection of photos. In that case it analyses only what you selected, and the app tells you so.

Deleting photos

CleanSwipe never deletes anything on its own. Items you mark are collected in a review queue, and removal happens only after you confirm it in the app and then confirm again in the system dialog that iOS presents.

Removed items go to Recently Deleted in the Photos app, where iOS keeps them for about 30 days. CleanSwipe cannot restore items itself; you recover them from Photos during that window.

Purchases

CleanSwipe Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Payment is handled entirely by Apple — MSA CORE LLC never receives or stores your payment details.

To keep your purchase working across devices and reinstalls, CleanSwipe uses RevenueCat as its purchase and entitlement infrastructure. RevenueCat processes your purchase history for this purpose.

CleanSwipe has no account system and no sign-in. RevenueCat identifies the installation with an anonymous identifier that is not tied to your name, email address or Apple Account. No information about your photo library is ever sent to RevenueCat.

RevenueCat's own privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.

What CleanSwipe does not do

Children

CleanSwipe is a general-purpose utility rated 4+. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, and it contains no advertising, social features or user-generated content.

Managing your subscription and requesting a refund

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple Account, not through CleanSwipe. Open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone to change or cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

You can remove all data CleanSwipe stores by deleting the app. Its settings and cleanup history live only on your device.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version is published on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will also be described in the app's release notes.
